This morning we had our PGC class and we discussed about laws and stuff. It suddenly dawned on me that maybe I could just pursue Law after graduation since Psychology is, somewhat, a nice pre-Law. Without thinking twice, I texted my dad and asked him if I could take up law and his reply really surprised me! :P

He told me to sort things out; to know what I really want because it seems like I want to do a lot of things and some are not interrelated. He told me to make a time frame and make sure that they are achievable.

I listened to him and as soon as I got a free time, I made a SWOT analysis of myself. haha...
After a few hours, my father called and we had a small chat which lasted for more than 9 mins. :P

I told him that maybe I'm just afraid of not being able to do a lot of things that's why I am trying too hard to learn a lot in such a short time. He told me that I should learn how to prioritize, to know which among the things that I want should be done first and then the next.

I told him that I want to study again and his response was: "It won't matter to me if you want to study again. I'll let you study as long as you want but my concern is you and you accomplishments."

He explained that I can study all I want it's just that I have to know which to do first so that once I get to finish it, then I can proceed to the next one and be able to feel accomplished after finishing something. :)

He gave me words of encouragement and explained some stuff about the SWOT Analysis and the things that I want to do.

I was enlightened, really. :)

I said thank you to him after our conversation. :)

Awww... I just love my parents. They are the BEST!

tried watching Heading to the Ground series and the movie Attack on the Pin-up Boys. haha! But then I gave up trying to buffer it after restarting my laptop for more than 4 times. I realized that maybe the lagging was due to the bad weather interrupting the signal...

I lost my phone.. a lot of my stuff have been missing these past few days... not sure if they're just missing or already lost... first was my favorite pencil case then, now, my cellphone...

Actually, I have two theories regarding the recent events:

2.) God wants me to learn how to really let go of the material things and focus more on the intangible things... :D and also to the things that really matter like my family, friends and dreams :)

Today I did the following:

Had my graduation picture taken at Red Images --- the makeup artist shaved off some of the "misplaced" eyebrows... It's my first time though. I really hate changing anything about my body and face. haha!

but I must say that they really charge big. I mean, the pictures? very expensive... hay...

We had our shooting for SCL 3 and I got the chance to have a chat with an old lady who sleeps on the overpass near our university... I feel really sad for her...
Then we had our dance practice for our Art Appreciation presentation on Monday! We'll be dancing to the tune of Lollipop by 2NE1. hahahaha! For the sake of our grades!!!

It was only this morning that I was informed about the invitation regarding the medical mission in Parañaque but nevertheless, I didn't waste the opportunity to join and attend the briefing at 4pm at the UST Med Bldg. (the original place for the briefing was at Lab 11 of the Main Bldg.) I joined the Marshals team :) *smug face*
I just thought that being able to practice how to control a crowd would really be of great help in the near future :)

I left home at around 12:30pm.

I rode 3 vehicles today: tricycle, jeepney, & LRT.

After the batch dinner of '73 and a few drinks last night at Sherwood we went to Punch's place to continue the session. hahaha!

Slept at 5am. Woke up at 10am. Planning to sleep again at 1pm ;P

I thought that today would be just like any ordinary day... very mundane...

then when arrived home I saw this yellow envelope on top of my laptop. I was really shockedas in I was really surprised when I saw it because I remembered my conversation with Hyeokbin oppa last night and he asked me if I have received the letter then I said "no, not yet.". Then I asked him about it and I even tried to guess the thing that he has sent with the letter...

waaaahhh.. :D He has sent a letter and a Taegeuk bookmark (ang cute!!!)

I was on the process of withdrawing the money to pay my tuition when, suddenly, this message appeared on the screen

"Your card might have expired or has been reported missing or stolen."

Those were not the exact words but I panicked when I saw it and then, thinking that it there might just have been a mixup, I tried again but the message appeared again so I waited for the bank to be open and there I was given a new atm card.

How silly of me to not read the papers included with the atm when I first used it. haha...

There I was a little clueless... I was informed that I have to renew my card every 3 years. oh ok. haha!!!

it has been a really long time since i've made a blog entry here...

i've been very busy... very very busy...

Confessions of a Shopaholic... I've planned on watching this flick but then i realized that i should just buy a dvd copy of it and watch it with my friends :) haha!

I'm just so happy that I was able to finish reading The Tale of Despereaux and Coraline in two weeks time. haha!

Kahapon kung saan-saan kami napadpad ni chiara dahilsa paghanap sa ILLC. haha! xet talaga... pasenxa na chia ha. hehe..

My Own Twilight Review ^_^

I was able to read the book before watching the movie. I liked it and I am not that disappointed :)

not because I had low expectations for the movie version but because I am aware of the fact that you can't actually make every stuff in the book squeezed in in the movie.Honestly, I really admire the screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg coz she was able to "patch up" or to somehow make important scenes from the book look as if they happened at the same time in the movie.

in short, ang galing n'yang magtahi ng kuwento. haha!galing! :)

sabi nga ng prof ko sa lit last year: NEVER COMPARE THE BOOK WITH THE MOVIE. ok fine. but i really can't help comparing the book with the movie! haha... i was able to test how good i am in imagining stuff and picturing every scene through the book. thank you. haha!

I THINK THEY INTENTIONALLY TRIED TO MAKE ALL THE CAST APPEAR MULTI-CULTURAL. haha!

TRIVIA: I SAW THE PHILIPPINE FLAG IN THE CAFETERIA SCENE. I THINK IT WAS ABOVE THE DOOR WHERE THE CULLENS AND HALES ENTERED. ^_^NICE HUH! :)

last friday afternoon, out of boredom eh naisipan kong mag-google about twilight tapos bigla kong nakita 'tong isang site wherein a fan was able to watch it through the net then i went to that site and was able to watch the full movie for FREE!!! hahahaha!sa teatro office kami nanood nung gamit ang laptop ni ravenum at lan. hahaha!

sa totoo lang hindi talaga umiinom pero last thursday night after ng pre-prod meeting for Lusak eh nagyaya sina kuya jim ng "reunion" kumbaga ng mga teatro peeps... hehe.. dapat sa tapsi eh kaso puno na kaya sa balay na kami tapos ayun.. sabi ko pa naman sasama lang ako para mag-dinner kasi gutom na q pero ang nangyari eh ginawa kong tubig ung Notos (South wind)--flavored beer--- ng balay. haha! hindi na 'ko um-order ng drinks para sa chicken adobo meal ko kasi nga ayun na ung "panulak" ko. haha... tapos bumaha na ng strong ice... naka 2 1/2 bottles of beer ako bukod pa ung notos na traydor, ika nga ni kuya jim kasi ang sakit agad sa ulo. haha...

masaya ang gabi.. andaming kalokohan... tawanan... gaguhan...

nakadalaw pa 'ko sa burol ng kamag-anak ng guro ko noong elementary na si Ma'am Llego... naabutan ko rin dun sina Ma'am Clavelo at Ma'am Roxas...

na-miss ko tuloy ang Sacre (pronounced as Sak-re)... ang Sacred Heart College. Ang eskuwelahan kung saan ako lumaki... simula Kinder 1 andun na 'ko hanggang Grade 10 (4th year). hehe... ang mga madreng naka-blue... ang checkered na uniform paired with white blouse. hahaha! old skul! kaka-miss!

nagulat na lang ako nung malapit na ko sa pinto nila Ms. Llego at nakita ko sina Ma'am Calvelo, napabulalas talaga 'ko nang "Sina Ma'am Calvelo!"

hehe... ganun na nga talaga kapag naging GURO KA. Panghabambuhay ka nang tatatak sa mga naging estudyante mo. Mabait ka man o hindi, tiyak na tatatak ka sa isipan kahit nang sa mga batang munti.

Isang taon na lang at ga-graduweyt na 'ko sa kolehiyo pero hindi ko pa rin sila nakakalimutan. Sa tingin ko kahit pilitin man, mahirap nang gawin. Naging mga pangalawang magulang na rin kasi natin sila...

minsan gagawa ako ng blog na para sa mga naging guro ko noong elementary at hayskul. dahil wala lang.

Waaahhh... nakakamiss 'yung mga theater guilds na nakasama namin from CEU, DLSU at lalo na 'yung mga taga-PUP! hehe... nakaka-miss sina Fiancee at lahat ng mga taga-PUP na kasama noong Simbuyo.. mas naging close kami sa kanila kaysa ibang guild kasi sila 'yung parang kapartner namin na university for Simbuyo. :) lalo na 'yung kulitan at gaguhan moments pati na 'yung reenactment kuno ng Walang Iwanan sa may tagiliran ng THB. hahaha! Sobrang nakakaiyak dahil sa katatawa!!! hahahahaha! Xiet... nakaka-miss talaga... Shiyaking! tapos noong EJ sila rin katabi namin at patawa galore si Fiancee. haha! Feb. 17, 2008 ata 'yun eh.

6 am na 'ko nakauwi sa dorm kanina at wala pa 'kong tulog dahil pinaglamayan nbamin ni Ate Polly 'yung souvenir program para sa Fuente Ovejuna... mahigit 24 hours na 'kong gising...

Pero 'di bale, masaya naman dahil para sa buong Teatro Tomasino naman 'to.

Nung huwebes pumunta kami ni Tats sa UP para manood ng Isang Panaginip na Fili.

kasalukuyan akong nakiki-epal dito sa Educ audi pc. haha!
nakiki-type habang pumapatay ng oras... anong oras na nga ba...?

maya-maya eh registration na ng Psynapse sa Metrobar, West Ave. pero andito pa rin ako sa USTe at nakikitambay sa rehearsal ng Fuente Ovejuna. hahaha!

ay xiet... kanina mga 6:30 am na 'ko nakatulog dahil 'yun din 'yung oras na nakabalik kami sa apartment nila tats. haha... tumambay kasi kami nila tats at paj sa Mini Stop, P. Noval simula hatinggabi hanggnag past 6 am kanina... hahahaha!

tapos may napanood pa kaming movie dun sa 24 hrs na tapsilogan, naka-HBO ung channel, Dead Silence 'yung title. Dun pa 'ko naki-ihi nung sobrang sumakit 'yung pantog ko dahil sa pagpipigil. hahahahaha! kasalanan ko na naman... hehe...

Sa wakas natapos ko ding basahin 'yung script ng Mga Gamu-Gamo...

kanina pumunta kami ni tats sa Lyceum para panoorin 'yung play ng Tanghalang Batingaw. Siklo at Alaala 'yung title ng twin bill. mas nagustuhan ko 'yung Alaala, naluha pa nga ako dahil na-touch ako sa ilang eksena...

Masaya ang buhay sa Teatro, lalo na sa Teatro Tomasino! ^_^

habang nagpeperform kami nung experiment eh naglolokohan pa kami ni Ate Ave na baka

kung anu-ano na 'yung sakit ko kasi puma-positive 'yung results nung sa'kin. haha!!! tapos

nung pinapa-check na namin kay Ms. Ramirez 'yung results saka 'yung mga makukulay na

test tubes eh ganito 'yung naging usapan:

How strange but very overwhelming...

We were asked to read Dead Stars for our Philippine Literatures class and the only chance that I got to read it is today. I was really shocked when I saw the brief biography of the author of Dead Stars, she was from LUCENA, QUEZON!!!! It's my HOMETOWN! Wow! haha! I am sooo happy... very ecstatic to know that A great author came from my hometown ^_^

first time namin ni Tats na pupunta sa Sta Clara para gawin ang isang "ritwal" hehe... mai-research nga minsan kung bakit ginagawa 'yun.

tapos ayun ang gulo.. nalito sa directions pero buti maraming napagtanungan kaya nakarating din.
nung andun na kami at matapos naming gawin ang dapat gawin eh umupo muna kami sa may hagdan.. ang sarap ng hangin. nakaka-relax.

babalik ulit kami dun minsan...
tapos ayun pagkalabas namin nag-merienda kami dun sa may tagiliran ng South exit ng LRT. Ang sarap nung palabok! :)

tapos eto na, pagpasok namin mali 'yung hagdan na binabaan namin ni tats, XIET! papuntang Santolan 'yung direksyon ng nasakyan namin! ayun natawa na lang kami... hehe...

pagbaba namin sa Santolan lumipat kami dun sa likod para bumalik papuntang Legarda. hahaha! tangna! nakakagago! promise! hehe...

I finally got the chance to watch Stardust last night.

I never thought that it would be that good. I really love the story line, the cinematography, the fx, lights... ALL THE ASPECTS IN THE MOVIE, I LIKE. ^_^

it rained hard again and this time I was really fortunate to have been able to bring my umbrella with me... thnak God.

but the down side is my plan for the night was ruined. I was forced to cancel my "date" with my friends since i'll be treating them for my post-birthday celebration...
well, there'll always be tomorrow....

regardng my entry's title.... hmmm....
I've always known that we should never let our thoughts leave us without noting even a single mark....

I'll elaborate it as soon as i can.

btw, i was so happy to finally see gain my best friend Bianca whom i haven't seen in two years!

I just missed her...

it rained again.. oh what else is new???

the streets of Dapitan, Espanya, Lacson and P. Noval are always like small rivers within the city because of too much rain and poor flood management as I refer to it. haha!

i just find it abusrd or to make it sound not that harsh, it's ironic that in this somewhat progressive part of the Philippines, people find it hard to control the overflowing of water from the drainage and the like.

Will it ever be solved???

na-tip ko lang 'yan dito kay kuya na nagtitinda ng taho lapag gabi sa street ng dorm namin. Astig! hahaha! Very creative kamo! haha!

4 more nights and 3 more days and it'll be my last teen year. haha! Or so I thought.

I really don't know how I would celebrate it since my family is not by my side. I am saddened by that fact but what else can I do? I am here in Manila and they are in Quezon and my Dad is in Subic because of work. :( I MISS THEM.

I WANT TO SEE THEM.

It's the first day of September and on Friday, I'll be celebratiung my 19th birthday... I know I can celebrate it with my friends but wouldn't it be a lot better if my family could come???? hay...

One more year and I'll graduating from college.

People who have been reading my entries are aware of my curent craze: DSLRs!!!!

and since I am Über excited to get my hands on that cam I somewhat forgot the things that I should consider if I really want to have it.

I was really shocked last night when my father called. I asked him about our deal about buying the dslr. I already noticed that there is something wrong with his voice and it was confirmed when he told me that he was hospitalized for 3 days! awwww... but luckiloy he is ok now and is out of the hospital.

But I won't say goodbye to my soon-to-be dslr. ^_^

I'll still have it, very soon! :)

Sheila: currently excited and somewhat confused. hahaha!

Teatro Tomasino: we're having a Lighting Design workshop today. Rehearsal for Fuente Ovejuna will follow.

Daph: Just as I thought you are overwhelmed with these problems which, I believe, are experienced by every human being. Get a grip on yourself! :) Problems are part of our human existence, they spice up our life. ^_^

Subjects: I'll pass all of you! hehehe... with flying colours! ^_^

... at long last I got a chance to have a nice cjhat [updates and stuff] with this friend of mine and hopefully she'd feel better after that conversation. ^_^

and also, I was able to watch The Bee Movie last night :) t'was a hell of a movie! haha!
